2. Complete the following prerequisites to the major:
(14 units) a. The following two courses:
(8 units) b. One of the following two-course sequences:
(6 units) 3. Complete the major of not less than 24 upper-division units.
No more than 8 units of CR-graded course work in courses graded exclusively CR/NC may apply toward the major. Note:
A student who can demonstrate equivalent preparation may be exempt from 4 to 14 units of the lower-division requirement. Two years of college-level Spanish or the equivalent is required for admission to upper-division courses.
Completion of an academic minor in a related discipline is not required, but is strongly recommended for single subject credential candidates. 1. Complete the following two courses:
(6 units) 2. Select three courses from the following:
(9 units) 3. Select 9 units of additional upper-division Spanish coursework, as approved by the department.
