Printmaking Certificate

The Department of Art offers a one-year postbaccalaureate program leading to a Certificate in Printmaking. The workshop in the printmaking program is available to qualified graduate students. Students may select print courses for the program from department course offerings in consultation with the adviser.
Admission Requirements:
- Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in art.
- Minimum of two courses in printmaking at the undergraduate level.
- Portfolio evaluation by printmaking faculty.
- Interest in the field and seriousness of endeavor.
Requirements for the Certificate:
- Complete a minimum of 14 units of studio electives in printmaking.
- Submit a portfolio of prints to a faculty committee who will evaluate the work.
- Participate in a group exhibition or a one-person exhibition of prints on campus or at a location acceptable to both the student and faculty.
