Computer Science Minor

Requirements

To qualify for this academic minor, students must complete the required number of units with a minimum GPA of 2.0 (C).

Complete 22 units minimum of computer science coursework from the courses listed below to include a minimum of 9 upper-division units:

1. Complete the following courses:

• CS 1500 - Computer Programming I
• CS 2500 - Computer Programming II
• CS 3100 - Data Structures and Algorithms

•  

• MATH 1100 - Precalculus

• or

• MATH 1410 - Calculus I

• or

• MATH 1070 - College Algebra and
• MATH 1080 - Trigonometry

•  

• MATH 2300 - Discrete Structures

•  

2. Two upper-division CS courses as approved by an adviser
