NSCI 3000 - Science for Self-Sufficiency(3 Units) Theoretical and practical aspects of science related to a
self-sufficient life style, including organic agriculture and pest
control; plant propagation; food preservation; production of beer,
wine, cheese, and other foods; human nutrition; transmission and
control of infectious diseases; water treatment and waste disposal;
environmental physiology; and production of energy.This course is not offered on a yearly basis.Satisfies G.E. area F1.Prerequisites: Junior standing.
