PSYC 5140 - Applied Psychopharmacology2 unit(s) Introduction to psychopharmacology drugs used to treat mental illness. We will review basic neurophysiology, pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics pertinent to an understanding of how drugs work in the brain. Students will also learn how to apply this knowledge within their scope of practice as Marriage Family Therapists.
Prerequisites: Graduate standing or consent of instructor.
