PHSC 3500 - Solar and Other Alternative Energies3 unit(s) Introduces the various techniques for utilizing solar energy and brings the students up to date on work to the present time on the broad spectrum of solar energy systems. Other alternative energy sources such as fission and fusion powers, geothermal energy, energy from the wind and from solid waste will also be included.
Satisfies G.E. area UD-B. Upper Division G.E. courses are designed to be taken after upper-division status (completion of 60 semester units) is attained.
Prerequisites: Upper-division standing or consent of instructor.
