HIST 4590 - The Role of Nature in U.S. History4 unit(s) (Formerly U.S. Environmental History) The role of the physical environment in shaping U.S. history and the ways in which Americans, in turn, have shaped their environment. Cultural attitudes toward nature over the course of U.S. History from the early colonial period to the present.
Prerequisites: One year of college-level history or consent of instructor.
