Analysis of domestic abuse and violence, including cohabitive heterosexual and homosexual partners and juvenile intimate abuse. Includes state and federal laws pertaining to domestic violence, battered woman’s syndrome, self-defense in homicide cases, cyclical violence, treatment for batterers, children in abusive environments, and patricide.

Prerequisites: Graduate standing.
