Introduction to bibliographic research, design/interpretation of experiments, statistical testing of results, and preparation of technical reports in biology.

Satisfies upper-division writing proficiency requirement.

Prerequisites: Passing score on the Writing Proficiency Screening Test, ENGL 1001, ENGL 1002 or ENGL 1005, BIOL 3310 and BIOL 3350 with grades of C- or higher, and junior standing, or consent of instructor (written communication).

Hours: (Lecture, 2 hours; laboratory, 3 hours)
