ETHS 4360 - Struggle in Black and Brown: Relational Ethnic Studies

An exploration of the experiences of Latina/os, African Americans, and Asian Americans in relationship to each other. By utilizing a relational framework to understand these groups shared, yet distinct experiences, this course sheds light into their mutual economic, historical, political, and social contexts. This course will focus on how these groups reside in multiracial communities across the U.S.; craft activists platforms collectively; and form artistic collaborations as they struggle to end racial injustice.
