HSCI 4210 - Community Health Education and Advocacy I

Teach and learning theory and practice for the Community Health setting. Methods for creating an active learning environment for the individuals and groups in a diverse population. Review of concepts in behavioral sciences affecting health behavior, motivation, decision-making, and risk taking. Emphasis on assessment of learning needs and developing a learning plan.

Prerequisites: Prerequisite or concurrent enrollment in HSCI 3010.
