HSCI 3000 - Foundations in Health Science(3 Units) Theory and scientific basis for health science related fields. An exploration of scientific concepts, theories and principles necessary to understand disease processes and health risks and to evaluate complementary/alternative treatments. Cultural/language considerations impacting health and the healthcare system.
Prerequisites: CHEM 2100 or CHEM 1000 and 1002, ZOOL 2230 and 2232, ZOOL 2250, or their equivalents.
