Course emphasizes the development of educational programs based on the individual characteristics of the students with ASD. Emphasis is on: (1) best practices and practical strategies for assessing children with autism; (2) elements of effective ASD interventions; and (3) evidence- and research-based strategies and classroom structures specific to students with ASD.
