EDSE 4830 - ASD: Teaching Communication and Social Skills

Course addresses the broad scope of issues related to effective communication and social competence for students on the autism spectrum. Emphasis is on interrelationships between communication, behavior, language, pragmatics and AAC systems; assessment and teaching of functional communication; strategies to facilitate the development of social skills.
