PSYC 5905 - Client Advocacy Practicum

(3 Units)
Course is designed to expose students to the principles of mental health recovery-oriented care and teach students to model these principles in real-world settings (i.e., practicum placements).  This course builds upon foundation skills in assessment, diagnosis, and intervention and demonstrates how to approach these activities from a recovery-oriented perspective.

Prerequisites: Graduate standing or consent of instructor.
