SOCL 3530 - Self and Social Behavior

Examines the social underpinnings which contribute to the development of the self. A seminar and an activity in which students keep a journal, engage in self observation and reflections, and make observations of others (especially significant others). As a seminar, students will be expected to exchange and examine ideas about the self from a theoretical as well as an experiential framework.
