HIST 4010 - Practicing Local History

(Formerly Practicing Public History) In a workshop setting, develop hands-on experience in routes to historical knowledge, preservation, and interpretation, including oral history, museum display, and interpretation of sites, buildings, documents, and photographs. Designed specifically for future teachers. (LIBS Integrative: Social Inquiry)

Prerequisites: Junior level standing and one year of college-level history or consent of instructor.
