GEOG 4700 - Geographical Landscapes and Processes in the Western United States (WP)(4 Units) (Formerly Geographical Processes in Arid Landscapes: Death Valley) Using field techniques in geography, the course analyzes geomorphic processes, climate characteristics, vegetation patterns and adaptations, and human impacts in the Western United States.
Satisfies upper division writing proficiency requirement.
Prerequisites: Completion of the Writing Proficiency Screening Test with a passing score, a course in physical geography or consent of instructor.
Hours: (Lecture, 1 hour; activity, 6 hours)
