ECON 5570 - Ecological Economics(4 Units) Focuses upon the relationship between economic systems and the biological and physical world. It recognizes that practical solutions to pressing social and environmental problems require interdisciplinary approaches that focus on the links between economic, social, and ecological systems. Current problems of economic growth and the prospects for continued development in a finite world are examined.
Prerequisites: ECON 2500 and ECON 2510 (or ECON 5050), ECON 4560, and graduate standing, or permission of instructor.
