(formerly Molecular Genetics) Principles and applications of recombinant DNA technology. Emphasis on the tools of gene manipulation, genomic scale analysis, and bioinformatics. Weekly activity involving DNA analysis software.

Prerequisites: BIOL 3350 with a grade of C- or higher.
