BIOL 4650 - Freshwater Ecology

(Formerly Aquatic Biology) The biota of fresh water with emphasis on the ecology, identification, physiology, and behavior of aquatic organisms.

Satisfies the ecology elective for the major.

Prerequisites: BIOL 1050 and BIOL 1150 (or equivalent introductory series) and CHEM 1100 and CHEM 1110 with grades of C- or higher, or consent of instructor.

Hours: (Lecture, 3 hours; laboratory, 3 hours; field trips)
