BIOL 4650 - Freshwater Ecology(4 Units) (Formerly Aquatic Biology) The biota of fresh water with emphasis on the ecology, identification, physiology, and behavior of aquatic organisms.
Satisfies the ecology elective for the major.
Prerequisites: BIOL 1050 and BIOL 1150 (or equivalent introductory series) and CHEM 1100 and CHEM 1110 with grades of C- or higher, or consent of instructor.
Hours: (Lecture, 3 hours; laboratory, 3 hours; field trips)
