(Formerly Caribbean Field School) Historical and ethnographic analysis of non-Western cultures through immersion. Includes training in qualitative and quantitative research strategies, ethnographic field techniques, language (where applicable), and archival/ethnohistoric research methods.

Prerequisites: Consent of instructor.
