NURS 2800 - Introduction to Nursing Practice

(2 Units) Explores nursing history, roles, image, values, and ethical conduct. Emphasizes engagement to practice by studying professional standards and competencies. (Formerly Introduction to Nursing) Prerequisites: Admission to the pre-licensure nursing program and students must follow curicular roadmap for pre-licensure nursing.
