Welcome to Stanislaus State’s Policy Handbook
There are numerous University policies that affect all members of the University. Stanislaus State is in the process of updating and moving all of its policies to this online catalog to make them accessible to all in one location. University policies are subject to change through normal University policy-making procedures. Academic and personnel policies are required to be consistent with the Collective Bargaining Agreements (CBAs) approved by the California State University (CSU) system and the respective employee bargaining units. All employees are expected to adhere to University policies and procedures. Any errors, corrections, or omissions should be reported to the appropriate division as soon as possible.

Procedures
Procedures are not included in the Policy Handbook and can be located by contacting the divisions or departments responsible for the particulat policy.

Frequently Used Acronyms and Initialisms: While every effort is made to identify frequently used acronyms and initialisms in every policy, the linked list defines most of the acronyms and initialisms at Stanislaus State.
Left-Hand Navigation Links: The left-hand navigation provides two different ways to view the University policies - by a filtered search or area/department. External links to CSU system-wide and state regulations are included in the bottom section of the navigation.
Policy Prefixes, Codes, and Types: The policies in this catalog are organized by division policy prefixes, codes, and types ; however, the catalog will accommodate keyword searching to assist in locating policies about specific topics.
