Roadmap: B.S. in Leadership Studies
For First Year Students - By completing the following Roadmap, you will earn a BS in Leadership Studies. During the first two years, students should complete the prerequisite for the major MDIS 2500 Leadership Development and carefully select lower division general education courses that meet prerequisite requirements for upper division courses offered in the major.
The Bachelor of Science in Leadership Studies is an interdisciplinary degree program that blends the understanding of complex organizational and relational dynamics for effective leadership. This program is designed for students who desire an educational opportunity in leadership that is not discipline-specific, but offers an unique curriculum plan designed to integrate their knowledge and nurture their skills and abilities to perform as successful leaders with diverse groups, organizations, their communities and society at large. The program also sponsors a minor in Leadership Studies.
The Roadmap is a recommended advising map to complete the degree program in four years. Please consult your academic advisor as you develop your academic plan.
