Baccalaureate Degree Requirements Advising Sheet

Kinesiology B.A.

The Kinesiology B.A. is a general foundational degree in Kinesiology. It has the versatility to be tailored to fit the specific interests of students who have a general interest in the field of Kinesiology.  However, it does not qualify students for admission to the Single Subject Credential Program or meet specific graduate program requirements (e.g., Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, etc.). Students interested in teaching should inquire about the Subject Matter Preparation Program (Physical Education)   . Students interested in PT, OT, or similar fields should inquire about the Exercise Science B.S.  Students interested in Public Health, Health Promotion, Disease/Injury Prevention or other allied health fields not previously mentioned should inquire about the Public Health Promotion B.S. . Students should seek advising early in the program to help meet their career objectives. A minimum of *120 units is required for graduation; additional elective units are required for graduation.

View the degree program Roadmaps , which provide recommended advising maps to complete the degree program. Please consult your academic advisor as you develop your academic plan.
