The Museum Studies Minor offered jointly by Anthropology and Art History provides students with the foundational knowledge, skills, and training required to assume entry level positions at a wide variety of museums and cultural institutions. Program coursework in Anthropology and Art History emphasizes museum practice and theory, professional museum standards and ethics, collections care, multi-vocal interpretation of collections, and exhibit development. Students will gain hands-on experience through course projects and internships.
