Graduate Certificate in Nonprofit Management

The purpose of the Graduate Certificate in Nonprofit Management is to offer post-baccalaureate educational opportunities for students and preparing them for professional careers in the nonprofit sector. The certificate program offers coursework that addresses issues of nonprofit management and issues in the nonprofit sector. The certificate program is designed to meet the needs of working professionals that require the skills and tools necessary to successfully address strategic issues in the nonprofit sector.

Program Learning Outcomes:
- An appreciation of the socio-cultural, economic, technological, and political-legal environments that shape the institutions that serve the nonprofit sector.
- Learn skills to be an effective leader and supervisor in the nonprofit sector.
- Understand and demonstrate the ability to use appropriate strategies and models of engagement to promote the organization’s strategy.
