3. Complete 12 units of upper-division electives (in consultation with the minor advisor):

Electives must include one course from the Common Core (3200 , 3550 , 3900 , 3910 , 4160 ) and from a minimum of two major elective categories. Elective courses are grouped into four categories: Public Communication & Advocacy, Relational & Social Dynamics, Media Studies & Communication Technology, and Strategic & Professional Communication. (9 of the 18 credit hours must be Stanislaus State resident credit courses).
