Art students gain exposure to a broad spectrum of interconnected approaches to the making of art and the critical appreciation of art. The faculty members are dedicated professional artists and scholars who bring a diverse range of experience and expertise to the classroom. Students benefit from close interaction and mentoring. The visual arts program is fully accredited by the National Association of Schools of Art and Design. The Art B.A. offers two concentrations: Art History and Studio. Students wishing to enter a credential program have the option to complete the Art Subject Matter Preparation Program in addition to one of the two concentrations.*
