The minor in Asian American Studies focuses on ethnic history, cultural change and adaptation, and the contemporary experiences of Asians in the U.S. The courses challenge students to explore the diversity of Asian communities in America. Students may pursue all of their minor courses in Ethnic Studies or choose an interdisciplinary program that includes courses in Anthropology/Geography, History, Political Science, and Business. The minor enriches the major concentration and also allows students major in other fields to pursue a coherent course of study on the Asian American experience.
