2. Complete the prerequisites to the major, consisting of TWO survey courses from the list below, observing the following restrictions:

3. Complete the major of no fewer than 33 upper-division units.
4. Consult with the major adviser concerning requirements, changes in curriculum, subject matter preparation programs, etc.

Requirements
Students wishing to have a specific concentration in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) may do so by completing all requirements for the major to include the following specific courses: Note:
Students planning to go on to a TESOL Certificate or an MA-TESOL concentration should consider taking at least two semesters of a foreign language, ENGL 4990 Senior Seminar (TESOL) (4 units), and ENGL 4600 Tutorial Projects (3 units). |
