1. Complete a minimum of 20 units of coursework in Earth Science covering categories (a) through (d) below.
At least 12 units must be upper-division. GEOL 3050 and GEOL 3650 cover similar material, so they are mutually exclusive (i.e., students should take one or the other). 2. Complete the following requirements; a single course may count toward only one of the categories:
a. At least 6 units of courses that address the solid-earth component:
