ANTH 5250 - The Ethnoecology of Southeast Asia

Drawing on case studies from Island and Mainland Southeast Asia (including southern China), this course explores the long history of human-environmental interaction in the region. We examine the causes of stress and instability in that interaction and the attempts to restore viable relationships and systems.(Same as GEOG 5250)Prerequisites: Graduate standing or consent of instructor.
