AGEC 2950 - Agricultural Computer Applications3 unit(s) Develop skills to analyze agricultural data using spreadsheet tools, build databases and perform financial tracking and reporting of agribusiness operations. Understand and apply ethical use of artificial intelligence (AI) tools for optimal decision-making and resource utilization.
Lower Division (LD) agriculture requirement.

Course Learning Outcomes List Students will be able to:
- Analyze and visualize agricultural data using Microsoft Excel and other spreadsheet tools to build budgets and visualize trends (PLO #1 & #2);
- Build and manage agricultural databases for farm records and compliance (PLO #1 & #2);
- Perform financial tracking and reporting tailored to farm and agribusiness operations such as income, expenses, payroll, and generate financial reports for agricultural enterprises (PLO #1, #2 & #3);
- Explain ethical principles in the use of Artificial intelligence (AI) tools in relation to bias mitigation, data privacy, and transparency (PLO #5 & #3); and,
- Utilize AI tools to support decision-making and diagnostics in agriculture (PLO #1 & #2).
