HIST 4830 - The Holocaust: A Crime Against Humanity3 unit(s) (Same as CJ 4830) The Holocaust, its origins, and the evolution of the attempt to exterminate the Jewish people of Europe. Focus on the victims, victimizers, and bystanders, the survivors experience, and the construction of memory.

Course Learning Outcomes List Students will be able to:
- Students will be able to discuss and interpret the historical process that led to the Holocaust and the Final Solution (HIST PLO #1, #3, #6);
- Students will be able to analyze how ordinary people become genocide perpetrators (HIST PLO #1, #6); and,
- Students will be able to explore the lived experiences of victims of the Holocaust (HIST PLO #1, #6).
