THEA 3400 - Voice and Movement I3 unit(s) Course introduces the actor to various techniques in vocal practice and physical movement to enhance the actor’s imagination, relaxation, and physical and vocal expression of character.
Prerequisites: THEA 1500
Course Learning Outcomes List Students will:
- Develop physical and vocal tools for creative expression in rehearsal and performance. PLO #2
- Articulate basic vocal and physical anatomy for the purpose of expression in rehearsal and performance. PLO #2
- Develop tools to reduce tension and acknowledge habits of moving and speaking that impede expression in rehearsal and performance.PLO #2 & 7
- Create a personal process for physical and vocal warm-ups. PLO #2
