SW 5040 - Field Instruction I1 - 3 unit(s) Supervised field instruction with individual groups, families, formal organizations, and communities. Practical application of social work practice theories. Must be repeated for a total of 6 units.
Prerequisites: Admission to the MSW Program and completion of or concurrent enrollment in SW 5030 or SW 5031.
Course Learning Outcomes List Students will be able to:

Demonstrates understanding and adherence to social work values and ethics and is aware of his or her biases(PLO 1);

Apply critical thinking skills within the context of practice (PLO 1);

Demonstrates the ability to practice without discrimination and with sensitivity and respect for multicultural issues, race, gender, sexual orientation, religious orientation, and disability (PLO 2);
