Prerequisites: SPAN 2011 or consent of instructor.

Course Learning Outcomes List
Students will be able to:

Attain intermediate oral and writing skills in Spanish, principally in infonnal and formal discourse;
Achieve a good command of the grammatical structure of Spanish;
Differentiate standard versus sub-standard Spanish, Ability to edit own work and that of others;
Write formal letters, interviews and reports on current events;
Increase written vocabulary, including idioms and syntax structures;
Gain linguistic sensitivity in phonology. morphology, syntax and lexicon; and
Be well-prepared for advanced Spanish courses.
