Second-year Spanish, with emphasis on oral proficiency. Includes review of language structure patterns and reading assignments. Consideration of Hispanic cultures. Native or near-native Spanish speakers are not allowed to enroll in SPAN 2010 without consent of instructor.

Satisfies the Life-long Learning Skills Requirement.

Prerequisites: One year college-level Spanish or equivalent.

Students will:

Develop fluency through oral expression, more flexibility in oral drills;
Develop fluency in reading and writing; and
Create composition or short essays on topics related to lessons being studied.
