Course Learning Outcomes List
Students will be able to:

Identify major government agencies that carry out agricultural policies and distinguish their respective mandates;
Demonstrate a clear understanding of agricultural policy making process and the critical stakeholders;
Describe and distinguish between the processes involved in establishing agricultural policies at the local, state and national levels;
Explain the impacts of major agricultural policies at the local, state, national and international level;
Describe major agricultural policies and regulation established to protect agricultural resources in San Joaquin Valley, California and the United States;
Distinguish between domestic and international agricultural policies and their relationships and importance; and
Differentiate between agricultural policies and agricultural programs both at the local, state and national levels.
