Prerequisites: Music major, audition, and program coordinator approval.
Course Learning Outcomes List In this course:
• Students will be able to understand the physics and mechanics of woodwind instruments;
• SWBAT recall the development, history, and usage of instruments in the woodwind family;
• SWBAT demonstrate the techniques of woodwind performance at a beginner level (approximately 5th - 6th grade); and
• SWBAT demonstrate the pedagogical elements of woodwind instruments.
