Students will be introduced to music and musical skills necessary to introduce music to K-8 classrooms. Singing, listening, and basic skills with a variety of classroom instruments will be included. Students will sing, will master basic notation, will demonstrate essential skills with classroom instruments, and explore current materials and approaches to teaching and
They will identify and describe instruments of the orchestra and experience examples of music from many world cultures along with techniques for integrating music into the school curriculum.
