MKT 4450 - Channel Institution and Retail Management4 unit(s) (Formerly Channel Management and Logistics) Focus on the role of marketing in the management of channel activities and product flows. Emphasizes management of purchasing, retailing, wholesaling, and physical distribution functions.
Prerequisites: MKT 3410.
Course Learning Outcomes List In this course:
- The student will be exposed to a range of channel management issues and techniques with which to meet the everyday problems; and
- The overall objectives of the course are the students’ assimilation of the techniques from a problem-solving perspective, and an understanding of the integration of these techniques into an effective, market-oriented channel management program.
