MATH 1410 - Calculus I4 unit(s) Inequalities, functions and graphs, limits and continuity, the derivative, differentiation of algebraic and trigonometric functions, applications of differentiation, the definite integral, and applications of the definite integral.
Satisfies G.E. area 2.
Prerequisites: MATH 1070 and MATH 1080, or MATH 1072 and MATH 1080, or MATH 1100; each with a grade of C- or better; or Mathematics Placement category I/II and a passing score on the Calculus Placement Test.
Course Learning Outcomes List Students will:
- Obtain proficiency in using the subject matter of first semester calculus;
- Obtain proficiency in applying the subject matter of first semester calculus to problem in other disciplines; and
- Obtain an understanding of the subject matter of first semester calculus.
