Prerequisites: Upper-division standing. ENGL 3150 and/or GEND 3000 is recommended but not required.
Course Learning Outcomes List Students will be able to:
1. Demonstrate functional distinctions between notions of sex, gender, and sexuality;
2. Formulate a notion of desire adequate for the study of literature and culture;
3. Analyze literary and filmic representations of desire and sexual subjectivity; and
4. Articulate these notions and analyses in oral and written form.
