CJ 4151 - Criminal Procedures II3 unit(s) Continuation of Criminal Procedures I (CJ 4141) where students examine the application of U.S. Constitutional provisions in a criminal justice context through in-depth analysis of case law.
Prerequisites: CJ 2250, CJ 2280, and CJ 4141, or consent of instructor.
Course Learning Outcomes List Students are expected:
To apply the Constitutional rules of criminal procedure to factual scenarios to analyze Supreme Court cases and explain how the Court ruled and why; and
To trace the history and development of Constitutional criminal procedure rules.
