CHEM 4012 - Physical Chemistry Laboratory I1 unit(s) Laboratory techniques focused on Thermodynamics, Equilibrium, and Statistical Thermodynamics.
Prerequisites: CHEM 4010 with a grade of C- or higher.
Hours: (Laboratory, 3 hours)
Course Learning Outcomes List The purpose of this course is to:
1. To allow students the opportunity to apply in practical laboratory experiments concepts previously presented (often in a rather abstract way) in the physical chemistry lecture course;
2. To present new concepts in physical chemistry for which there is insufficient time in the lecture course; and
3. To familiarize students with the instrumentation and techniques used to determine physical chemical quantities.
