An optional laboratory course to accompany CHEM 1000 or 3070. Experiments will illustrate some of the different types of chemistry relevant to the world we live in. These include polymers, the environment, soaps and detergents, medicinal and food chemistry.

Prerequisites: Prior or concurrent enrollment in CHEM 1000, or 3070.
