Course Learning Outcomes List Students will:
1) Develop the ability to manipulate sculpture materials to convey meaning in a coherent fashion;
2) Demonstrate through sculpture an understanding of the way in which formal principles serve visual expression and communication;
3) Demonstrate familiarity with diverse approaches to sculpture;
4) Understanding of the principles of critical analysis of sculpture;
5) Awareness of the way in which painting practice develops out a history of sculpture;
6) Understanding of the relationship between sculpture and other visual media; and
7) Understanding and ability to demonstrate proper use facilities and equipment in the Art Department.
